I was hoping this might make solar power more viable, but you have to ramp up the volts to increase the charge time. I see high voltage recharging units in petrol stations as a new niche. It would give the financial benifits that hydrogen doesn't seem to have.

It would probably fook with the national grid though. I expect we'd need more power stations if this were to become widespread in vehicles.
