Seems like a mistake and not a money grabbing scheme after all, average price is now around £170.

Something rel8ing to the prices of these things is very mysterious.

Not a case of a single manufacturer running a promotion, but we're seeing a number of names.

It could be that the £121 is going to be the price, but some1 misread at what date it was going to drop to it.

Be nice if we knew what the deal is with these P55 mobos.

Too rushed ? Newer tech in newer revisions ? Limited shelf time ?

Something is going on imo.

well i ordered the EVGA P55 FTW this morning @ £130 including p+p and the order hasnt been fully processed and its 4 o'clock something is fishy lol

Ring em up. I had a problem with scan not processing an order which was suspiciously cheap. It took a month to resolve, but I did manage to get a full retail version of the newest edition of the product not the OEM old version.

And OCUK have dropped the EVGA to Scan levels.

I'd still buy from Scan.

my evga order got cancelled just before i went out for my college interview and then the price went upto £170+, not too bothered thought i might aswell sacrifice a new cooler for now and just go with the asus maximus III formula.

I thought these new P55 boards were aimed at mainstream users and supposedly meant to be affordable, a quick gander of what's available on P55 for around 100 quid shows a grand total of 3 motherboards.
