Ballistix Screwed - What RAM to get? *56k*

Nice u went with the Redlines? Great choice! I might pick up a kit just to have on call if my damn Ballistix takes the piss. It's been running great though!

Are the tracers having the same probs as the standard ballistix?

Yep went with the redline. Pics and more overclocking will come later. I'll get pics up and once Jims got his watercooling to me I'll start some serious overclocking :)

@Frag, From what I've read, not really. It seems a bit more care is taken when they choose the chips for the Tracers.

@Kemp, Good stuff man! Hope you have a good clocker :D

Here's a couple of pics of the sexah stuff as well as the current timings/PI score/sandra benchies. A very mild OC @ 1.325v @ 2.5GHz: 250 x 10 1:1

well ocz plat. eb and mushkin redlines use infenion based memory. The black HS Mushkin uses Samsung UCCC chips. Redlines are a good buy , albeit at a cost.

My Corsair Value Select 2 x 1gb came with Samsung UCCC chips in and they overclock very well (stock 200mhz, I run them at 254mhz 24/7)

what settings are you using hyper ?? I might be able to help you get higher . Post a screenie of your A64 tweaker with Vdimm showing with whatever monitoring software you use. And a CPU-Z screenie of your CPU tab.

Check out the attached image.

Me and my mate (serious overclocker) were trying many different timings to try for more.

It will do 260mhz but i dont need any higher frequency as my cpu is happy at 2.8ghz but it would be nice to have tighter timings.

It is running at 2.8V.
