Bad memory?

I have Corsair XMS3 1600 2x4GB, so it's two 4gb modules

If I have several tabs open in Chrome then they take 1.3-1.8gb and 52% of the 8gb is used, If I play Crysis2 this popup appears:

Closing Chrome puts the memory usage at around 30% I can then play Crysis 2 without popup from windows 7.

I had pagefile.sys 3.2gb and hiberfile.sys 8gb, now I removed hiber and put pagefile to 8GB...
OS is Windows 64 ultimate and SSD C300 64gb Crucial now 8gb pagefile and now there is 8gb free space on the SSD.

chrome can be somewhat of a memory whore, how many processes does task manager report?

as mine is 100, and ram utilisation is 14/15% but i also have double the ram so the figures would tally to an extent

you are running out of room in your pagefile (floating memory) should be 1.5 of physical
RAM. you really should run a mech drive (laptop works well) to use as a drive for read/write
for pagefile, hib, any cache folders so the SSD will not have to write one-way files (lessens
the life). so you can run a 12GB pagefile, 8GB hiberfile, 50MB web browser cache, and any
other temp file write. or get a 256GB SSD and not worry about it..

My refurbushed 64gb C300 that is my OS disk has according to Crystal diskmark good health status (84%).

My gaming disk Corsair F120 has also good health status (100%).

After I now increase the pagefile from 3.5gb to 8gb, so far I tested Crysis 2 once without any problems.

Also I don't need hiberfile as I never use hibernation.
