Thats like me and scorchio - but thats mostly coz we live close to each other and have been competitive mates for over 20 years and as such we mostly have the same kit to avoid any 'unfair' advantages.

Just an excuse as to why you spend so much money on hardware, can always blame it on someone else

ok, just hacked up a zalman passive cooler for my chipset, using my broken dremel lol, needed to remove 3 rows of fins for the 7800 to fit around it due to a cap

anyways, chipset at 44C during BF2, not so bad

after several hours and gaming etc, running spi32mb to heat it up etc

it hit a max of 50C after 2 runs of spi 32mb and my chipset at 1.6v

well pleased!

and i must add this is with all my case fans at 6v (min my fan controller can do) and the front controller of my pc65 on minimum speed

silence and good temps
