Okay, so i was surfing around on youtube and then PC probe II comes up with a warning message, that my Vcore is at, brace yourself:

67.85 VOLTS

I almost fell backwards!

It only lasted a second but i wanted to know out of curiosity from you guys, is it even possible to get that voltage as a spike (haven't overclocked anything) or did PC probe tell me a fib?

Seems like voltage like that would be the end of the CPU. Pretty weird.

id guess its a misread, did you have any other monitoring software running at the same time?

using more than 1 app at a time can cause conflicts between them.

i once had 1 tell me my fans was running at 56 million rpm :/

XD lol i only had overdrive installed other than PC Probe and that wasn't even open so shouldn't have conflicted.

Now i'm hoping i can use 67 volts for a stable 120Ghz overclock running at the same 40*c

was merely yankin Ur chain a tad. I would of had a small heart attack myself if I saw that pop up. Specially after dropping 800$ to upgrade it earlier this month. Still no idea in my mind what could of caused it. Would imo have to of been a momentary jitter in the program. But ya scary none the less.
