AX750 question

Hey!

I just bought a Corsair AX750 PSU and was wondering if you have to use both the connectors on the PSU end for the 24 pin? just to be sure.. :)

and another thing:
how do I know which wires to "short" to start the pumps and fill the system? the wires are all black.. I have an old 24-pin cable with colored wires, can I just look at that to find the right wires to connect on the new PSU??

Yes you do connect both connectors.

Yeh, it is a standardised layout.

You can see the AX with both the cables in on the first photo of my "Desktop gallary". I wish corsair/seasonic had just done a straight 24 to 24 like Silverstone have, makes sleeving it a ball-ache.

yahr i know.. I just began disassembling the 24-pin cable.. im looking forward to see how clean I can make it..

another quick question. does it matter which wires go where? I mean there are different thicknesses.. (I have written down where the wire goes from one connector to the other connector)
