Yeah I was reading this - needs a bit more meat to it than what this guy is saying, it could all be (and probably is) propaganda/rumours.

Nvidia really are being Tight lipped about the G80 - this is probably just a plan to get them to say something about its own plans.

Yep you could be right on this, but if it is true Wow 64 Pipes now that would be something and when you think about what the big guns are planning, the likes of starting work on a unified chip that will have GPU and CPU on a same silicon with this sort of spec, 4X4 core, 64 Pipes all on one chip.
