ATI Hytbrid PhysX, low results :-(

My 9800GT is OK with Physx, but below that the cards simply don't have enough cores. The one exception is the 9600GSO, which is a rebranded higher end card.

the instructions are a bit iffy. download the mod and remember where you saved it. driver sweep ALL these drivers (ATI-Display, Nvidia-Chipset, Nvidia-Display, and Nvidia-PhysX) and install the 5870 driver FIRST. then download the physx driver second. then download the 8800 driver from Nvidia third. then find were you saved the driver physx mod and double click or right click open " Hybrid-PhysX-mod-1.04ff.exe ". click apply. then restart your computer.

use these steps IN ORDER. this is how i got it to work.

that is a question you should ask the Nvidia support. a few years back i had a driver for a 7600gt and my driver kept screwing my card up, so i contacted Nvidia support via email and after a few exchanges he/she advised me to remove the Nvidia chipset, and it magicly worked.
