i hope it will be top end cards to clash heads with the gt300 cards not just different namings of the x2 cards as i wana stick with the reds and still get top notch performance from a single card,

Thing with this dual mounted gpus, amd or nvidia, if they use xfire/sli tech to show their performance, I'd personally still want to stick with the 1 gpu card.

Although it's all crammed on 1 pcb, or face to face mounted, to take up 1 physical card, once the case is closed, u may as well have 2 cards in there (if u have the room ofc).

Presenting itself as 1 gpu to the OS, then I'd show interest in x2 tech tbh.

Considering the 4870X2 is still rocking, and the 5870 beats that, why on earth would anyone want a 5870X2??

Running Crysis on 2 30" monitors with 8xAA maybe, but I doubt any CPU could provide enough for the graphics card to sweat.

I think people want that is either enthuasist or someone who have a lot of money. but beside ATI stratgey is kill gt 300 series by selling 5700 series (lower end)and 5800+5900 series (high end). so that when it comes out it won't affect them that much.
