Im going to buy ATH M50 soon, or DT770, whatever's the lowest at that time.

Im just wondering for you that own M50's out there and are wearing glasses, how are they?
-Do they still form a good 'seal'?
-Lose any audio quality or that bassy-ness?
-Comfort? Does it press down in and around your ear, you know where your glasses sits? Or your nose, where the glasses 'pads' are?

And just in case; How about for DT770's?

While i do not own any of those headsets i have seen people say the dt770 fits and feels better to wear for a extended hours.. I also think the dt770 sounds better if i recall correctly?

Also make sure either one is hooked up to your xonar stx.

i own dt770 pros
tested with sunglasses for a couple minutes and its not that uncomfortable, although i can feel a bit of pressure due to the sunglasses, nothing on the nose though
audio quality was about the same, didn't notice any difference

The Dt770's are the most comfy headphones i've ever owned

I was on the train for 7 hours coming back from uni. Didn't take them off once. And i wear glasses when working on my laptop too and its fine, not as good obviously but yeah fine all the same.

I wear glasses 24/7 and I have no issues whatsoever with DT770s. I've worn them for numerous long listening and gaming sessions with no pain

i own both headphones and i must say they are really comfi but i don't where glasses.
But my brother does and he barrows them (the headphones) a lott so i asked him which
were the most comfortable. And i am here with the results : the dt 770 are more
comfortable but isolate just a little bit less when you are wearing glasses (but it's just
a tiny difference). so I would chose the dt's if i were you

Wow! alot of love for the DT770's

From my previous post, quite a long time ago (HERE) i mentioned that i mostly listen to 'Top40', Hip hop, R&B, mainly bassy ones; therefore most people recommended the M50's as its got more of that kick im after. That's why i've been leaning more towards the M50.

But obviously im guessing comfort of the DT's beat the comfort of the M50.

If you dont mind, what does your brother think of the comfort on the M50's while wearing glasses?

I wear glasses, and own some M50's and they are a very snug fit, and start to feel uncomfortable after about 2 hours or so, but other than that its all ok for me

Thanks for the reply MrKambo.

Im thinking of getting both to try out. Does anybody know what your 'rights' are called when you buy something off the internet that you have not held/seen before?

Anybody know what the return policy is for Amazon - if i can buy both and return one that i dont like?

Distance Selling Regulations

Iirc you have to notify within 14days and return the item within 30days from the purchase date. If you put the reason for return "i don't like it" you will have to pay for postage most likely but if it's "unfit for purpose"/"wrong item sent" then they pay for postage.

If you do that once there should be no problem. Be advised though that (in Germany, don't know about UK) amazon has been reported to suspend accounts of people who make excessive use of that.
