Asus Z87 Hero vs Deluxe

Hello everyone,

So i know that they arent in the same price range ( I can get a Hero for 210e and the deluxe for 260e )

Things to know:
I am going to do a mild OC ( have an H80 ) to my 4770k.
I do want the build in WIFI since its either that, or powerline which sucks for me
I dont care THAT much about the gold color or the red
I have a Xonar STX so the better onboard audio on the Hero doesnt really matter for me.

Am i missing something or is the Hero better just because its red/black and costs 50e less for me?

I would say go for the hero historically ROG boards have been good (besides perhaps the new extreme one) and the asus tends to make more of a effort on their ROG boards

the ROG does have a better onboard audio clip than the market-line. separated
audio for less interference. a better cap/MOSFET power management over the
deluxe. deluxe using dual NIC, but that's about it for the differences. if the color
isn't a concern the hero for the cash difference (using STX).
