Hello Everyone.

I used to have a asus Ds before i upgraded the mainboard so i lost the pci slots, i wanted to update to a better quality soundcard on pcie, has anyone used either of the above ?

Ive seen the stx at £119 (when on offer) and the creative is at the same price on there own site.

Thanks.

John

Only ever buy Xonar - avoid soundblasters.

What headphones / speakers are you running?

The STX is amazing, but you do need good headphones/speakers to really make it worth the cost.

Right thanks to you both.
I missed the stx when it was on offer last time, not surprised it sold out at that price.

The system is a Sony strdh100, linked to a set of Roth oli 3's.
