Nice, Hopefully they bring a higher end ROG mobo out with slightly better aesthetics like their CH6 Extreme, If AMD come out with a 2800X and Asus come out with a CH7 extreme, Then I shall upgrade from my trusty 1800X ^_^

Unless I can pluck up the courage to delid the 7900X then I'll be switching to a Ryzen CPU!

Moving from a 10-core to an 8-core? How high does your 7900X overclock without a delid? Sorry, just not really seeing the upgrade there.

I don't bother OC'ing it as it already hits 75C at stock on a custom loop

This is the case unfortunately.

I could try undervotling a little but my main choice is to either attempt a delid which risks damaging an £800 CPU or waiting for the 2700X to release and downgrading and pocketing the difference.

What you people think?

The latter. Sounds like you got a dog of a chip I would offload it on Ebay.
