ASUS to make a 1080p 24" version of the ROG Swift

It may still be better than 60hz(obviously) but compared to the input lag it gets from being overclocked higher than 144hz the input lag from everything gets raised, turning vsync on may help in a scenario or two but on or off it still raises the input lag from M/KB above what it is for 144hz. Think it was Anandtech who did testing on this to show the increases

Nope. I don't know if reponse time is affected when overclocking from 144hz to 165hz, on paper it might not but when testing it it could have a lower avg. Haven't looked into that much to figure that part out
 
The response time is technically part of the total input lag

Yes, sorry I thought NBD was referring to the input lag of a game, not monitor.
And as a game running at 165Hz (if it can) will obviously increase input polling and therefore reduce game input lag.
