Hmm.. Looks quite cool actually.. but i cant see it being that much more environmentally friendly. Ide imagine it being pretty hot aswell lol.
 
I had to double check the date on this one, looks like someone got their april fools page up early this year.

Huh??? ASUS has it on their global site for the 7th March 2008. Or have I misunderstood what you meant?

Nope, they're going to use Bamboo not trees. Bamboo is considered a noxious weed here in Australia.

Id love a bamboo computer. I remember a couple of weeks back i found a nice computer made from a wood of some sort, costing about £4999 just for the case. What sort of price we looking at for these then? or is it merely a cocept that has yet to be though about in detail?

anyways...id have one. :cool:

I bet your saving, what, 0.0001 tonnes of CO2 once? And paying enough that you might as well have bought a small country in Africa and filled it with trees...
