I can't wait for the reviews on these chips and see what it can do on motherboards like this. I really want to build a TR rig even tho it's extreme overkill for a gaming rig but that's kinda why I want one lol. I don't know if I can shell out $550 for a mobo tho. I know it takes a lot of beefed up components to handle a chip that big and power hungry but that's still a ton of cash for a board.

The lowest priced rumored board is the Tachai from Asrock. Think it was $399. Based off there recent boards in that lineup it's probably everything anyone would need. Very capable boards

The Asus Prime at $350 I think would be the best bang for the buck. I'm kind of a stickler for Asus boards. Not a fanboy thing like I am for AMD but because out of all the boards I've used over the years for my builds and builds for friend, Asus is the only brand that has never crapped out on me....which now that I've said that it means the next one will probably catch fire on me or something.
can you please test what performance difference it makes on x399 platform when you use 2 ram modules instead of 4 modules.
i saw no real difference on intels x99 but maybe that´s different with x399.
and as TR/x399 makes for a great workstation platform, will you test with ECC ram too?
or tell us about ECC ram support in general?
