Asus ROG Strix ITX B450 vs X470

I have an ASRock X470 ITX motherboard that's being a complete PITA with its sound card (possibly poor drivers) and I'm considering buying a new one before I send this one in for RMA.

For my 2600X and a possible upgrade to Zen 2 down the road, which one of the Asus ROG Strix ITX boards would be best option? B450 or X470? As far I can tell from the reviews, there absolutely no difference between the B450 and X470 models from Asus. Or is there? I bet TTL could answer that one fast

Check the VRM. If they are the same get the cheaper one.

When testing with 2000 series we saw no difference but Ive not been able to confirm anything with 3000 and I have no plans to retest every old board

Hey there. Thanks for the answers. Think I forgot to enable email notifications as I didn't get any, but anyway I decided just to live with it and get a dedicated USB AMP/DAC instead, as my motherboard should be able to handle a R7 3700X without any issues.
