ASUS' ROG Ryuo series liquid coolers are now available to pre-order

Not too bad if I'm honest, always liked the NZXT AIO with the infinity mirror but this has an OLED display so I'd say £160 is more than worth it.

My response to that is this: Why is that worth it? I'd never want to look at my CPU cooler to read the information when I have an infinite amount of software on my pc that I can open and view much more detailed information then that OLED screen can ever hope to show me.

I do like the idea, I really do, but for the price they are asking (which is mainly due to said OLED screen) I'd buy a different AIO and save a bit of money; It is a small screen which most people won't ever look at compared to the software they likely have on their rigs.

So aside from the "flashy look of it" I don't see a legit purpose behind it, at this moment in tech, aside from the looks and uniqueness that it offers.

LAN party or gathering? It would be cool.

Normal day to day usage of the rig? Pointless (imo).

Corsair H150i Pro 360mm costs £165 and performs brilliantly, Asus ROG 240mm costs £160 and will perform worse but at least they put a screen on the cooler.

Cheap generic Asetek design with flashy lights and a small screen, Only good thing about it is the Noctua fans.

Sorry fella, but only the Ryujin has Noctua fans. The Ryuo has ASUS fans.

that's not so bad considering there using Noctua fans on them , oops didn't realise only one had Noctua on it
