Windows 8.1 basic, 344.75, received the monitor 4/12.

Issues at both desktop and in games, at 60Hz I get mild screen flickers, at 120-144 Hz my entire screen moves, words and icons flicker, text is blurred in some instances, colours on the screen flash lighter and darker, just a nightmare to use.

Well.... had some fun today running a dual 27" screen set-up. With the ROG Swift and a Dell U2715. I haven't returned the Swift yet as the issue I mentioned (and shared images on) has not recurred.

I'm sticking with the Swift. The white textures on the Dell were marginally less glaring than the same scene driven through the Swift. But there's no comparison with blacks....

I loaded up FSX Steam Edition (don't abuse me) and then proceeded to a night flight mission, flying over water. The definition in the darkness was amazing on the Swift and as a direct comparison, the Dell's blacks blended.... there was zero definition.

Then (and this is the ultimate in objective tests) I asked my wife to take a look. She straight away said the colours and detail presented in the screen "with the black stand" (the Swift) were much better than those on the Dell.

How are the other guys with Swift issues getting on? Still causing probs guys?

Stll nothing but grief.

Being told to have to RMA directly through Asus, apparently I'm still on the warranty of my first monitor, am on my 3rd currently, not particularly happy.
