Maybe they actually made then out of copper?

They look inappropriate to me. Think u`ll need some nicely positioned fans to get the warm air away from them too or they`ll just act like radiators.

Looks like the usual aluminium sprayed copper to me I wish just for once motherboard manufacturers would splash out that little bit extra cash fro a nice copper cooling system with a silent fan.
