Asus ROG matrix GPU/ VoodooDNA

Not that Asus has discontinued their ROG series but all the matrix GPU's seem to have gone ghost... I have found no information ever on where to find a matrix gtx 285 which a while ago i was really dying for lol... But I guess they are those products you get when they come out and have them or don't have them... Like the fatal1ty zalman cases.

Alright now for another "gone ghost" subject... Remember the Hp VoodooDNA line of computers? Well If not then I'll but a picture down of like the OMEN. I really miss that company... I had Voodoo deathadder no clue where that went. I did though find my Hp gaming mouse with VoodooDNA which I now use often and really enjoy it. I guess after the envy laptops Voodoo just kinda stopped. It's weird cause they were booming and HP really invested in them.

yeah prob ppl found better value elsewhere, but i have to say the case looks kinda mac g5ish

It sure does look mac-ish but remember this was a while ago and the style of the case was cooling efficiency

and user friendly attributes... They were gaming based EX: HP blackbird with VoodooDNA and the omen was just another +1 in their line of computers and the little screen on the front can actually be used for a dual monitor set up.

But I really like these guys i just want to know what happened to Voodoo... And All the Asus graphics cards

Reminds me of what OCZ did to Hypersonic pc. Purchase it and trash it. Either way, voodoo was overpriced just like Falcon Northwest and Alienware are now. All of their extra hardware was just re branded Razer merchandise. I am on the Tarantula right now, the same keyboard. So no skin off my back. Just build your own, get the same performance and save money. Cheers.

i had the non fatality zalman for a wile it was a nice case. and is stil available today, I wouldnt bother with the fatality one, at the end of the day its got some yank gamers username on it, so doesnt mean alot. Now if they provided a lazer scribing service with my username on it, it would be anouther matter lol.

AFAIK HP has killed off the voodoo brand or are still phasing it out. The original creator/owner/president of voodoo has left HP now as well.

usually the matrix cards are limited addition, and since ppl that buy them are usually into pc's they get hard to find after asus stops making 'em. which is why i grabbed a matrix gtx580 platinum for my build. i too really like the red and black color scheme

just wait a bit and get the up coming mars2 guarantied to be the best looking card out there if you are a fan of the red and black theme
