ASUS ROG Invests in RGB Chariot Chairs and Ranger Backpacks

Why have the "Republic of Gamers" light branding where you sit? It will basically never be shown that way. Would've been nicer if they put it on the back instead.

Plus, the redness again. Would've preferred if they did the ROG logos in grey instead, to suit in better with the overall setups that it might be put into. Red will crash more often than a more neutral colour.

Agreed.

Now all they're missing is an RGB table :O I'd love one! Especially if it would be one of those tables where you put your components inside.

Love or hate RGB, I definitely like the backpack! Feels super unnecessary, but since you can turn RGB off - as always - you still have a nice backpack with some useful gimmicks. At least that's what it sounds like. 20 liters sounds massive to me, but I don't know how much I can cram into my current backpack.

Republic of Gimmicks.

I would never in my life want to walk around with that thing on my back. I'd rather have a Bob the builder bag. At least people would know im just joking around then.

The chair looks like they have tried to immitate noble, with their 4D arm rests. If they dropped the colour and logo, or made it far more discreet, it would sell far better.

People know I hate RGB, but these designs are just childish AF.

Pics or it didn't happen! ;) It simply depends on your own taste. Some men wear women's trousers, some use these backpacks.

The 4D arm rests are nothing special, every chair manufacturer I know uses them. RGB is, again, a thing of personal taste. The most important feature is the ability to turn it off and you can do so. I can understand why you hate RGB.

I never understood why you'd buy gaming branded chairs, backpacks or even headphones. There are plenty of quality brands which have decades worth of experience in making those, and in many cases for cheaper. It's just low end gear with expensive branding.

While I like having RGB as it gives you a choice should you ever want to change theme, I can't see the point in having lights on something you cannot see like this or headphones.

I would remind every one that for what Asus are probably going to charge for this chair you could buy a top end Sparco etc and a proper gas lift base for it.

If I ever get another chair that will be what I do.

But... will it have RGB? ;)
