Pretty useless to have a refresh rate that high imo. Really anything beyond 144hz doesn't do much. Wonder if them having to OC the panel's so high alternatively hurts input lag.

Ever since I first heard about this monitor and it's insanely high refresh rate, I've thought the same thing.

Oh god the ROG Swift are over hyped but people to me it looks ugly can't stand the stupid LED at the bottom for me nothing compares to the ACER X34.

ACER nailed it where ASUS failed.

Couldn't agree more, I've tried 60Hz, 75Hz, 100Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz, 165Hz and the biggest difference was going from 60Hz to 100Hz, Anything after that isn't really that noticeable, To me anyway.

Good marketing though and someone out there will come up with some excuse as to why they need a 240Hz monitor ^_^

Yes, cause so called "pro" gamers need super high refresh rates cause it apparently affects their response times. So damn annoying whenever I see it.

Its quite a PITA to get 240FPS in the first place..
