ASUS has revealed their new GTX 1080 Strix Gaming, with their new DirectCU III Cooler, RGB illumination, dedicated PWM fan headers and a nice factory overclock.

I suppose that isn't too bad actually.

We are looking at 7600nok for reference vs 7500 for the strix. Not much different, but cheaper is cheaper.

converts to £597 vs £589 respectively.

Looking really nice - I hope EK makes a water block soon. Anyone know what the dimensions of the card are? I need to see if it will fit in my X2M case. The EVGA 980 ACX card is right up against my Res so have to be careful about room. Shame I will be loosing on the lighting, however there is no way I am not WC my 1080 when I get one

From Techpowerup GTX 1080 review and 980ti Gigabyte XtremeGaming review (March, 2016):

BF3 - 980ti at 1492/2090Mhz - 136FPS
BF3 - 1080 at stock - 137FPS

They perform the same in that benchmark.
