Cleaning time for my R3E board.

It was getting pretty diry after all the bench sessions so i decided to do something about it.

board prolly was sprayed with conform plus allowing it to dry out properly before powering up should be fine
 
Board works fine.

You just have to put it in a oven for about 30 mins at 60 degress celsius then it will be dry and ready to bench some more

I've done this many times before without ever killing a motherboard
 
What was in the bath? Fairy Liquid?

Also, what kind of temp and bench improvements are you getting, or is it mainly aesthetic improvements?
 
You can wash most computer parts in water so long as you dry them out completely before running any volts threw it

Not sure if I would trust myself turning my Rampage III on after a water bath tho

Defiantly looks cleaner
 
Board still works fine.

Only problem is that the ram dimm closest to the 24 pin connection still have some dirt in it so W7 only reads 4 gb.
