ASUS has boosted its top RTX 5080 model with higher power limits for overclocking.​

I'm not sure it will help tbh.

I remember there was a 500w bios for my old 2080ti and it just totally wasn't worth it as the silicon was close to the limit and could be pushed to within 100mhz without guzzling power.
 
Most 5080's performance wise seem to top out around 380w max from what I've seen, Any more and you're really just adding heat.

Yup. For eveey 10mhz you add you need increasingly larger wattage.

These cards never made sense. Big expensive mid range silicon. You've always been better off buying a higher end card.

It's a similar thing in car audio. Like for example getting to a certain db with one sub is quite easy. However the higher the db the more subs you need to add. And the numbers significantly diminish.

Indeed, 5080's hardware wise are nice but once you start adding in super uber power delivery with 4 slot coolers it's senseless.
