USB 3.0 being the fastest thing out there is something manufacturers do not want to pass by and ASUS have come out in all force promoting their USB 3.0 working a long side a lot of big names.

Now let me see if I've got this straight (please chime people) . Intel was massively involved with the creation of this new usb standard but has decided to forgo it for Light Pipe? Yet it seems the baby is out of the basket and instead of walking it's running amok! Makes me think about how the Mac hasn't committed either, yet. They always have a test it to death mentality or wait and see. Meanwhile this community is all about pushing the development. (I LOVE IT!) Could this be a reason that Apple has eh..hm.. had some chats with the nice people at AMD. ERR..as well as the intel GPU issues. I'm not a platform hater. It's all good!

im still waiting for cases which will support usb3

Ive not seen any motherboards with onboard USB3 headers either, they only ever have them fitted on the rear I/O

I was thinking along the lines of modding a case with a single usb3 port. But like TTL mentions, no headers on the MOBO. I don't think I would want mess with a sweet new Rampage III or other mobo, but have considered seeking out someone with the skills and hiring to do that little mod! Speaking of mobo's... I'm in the US and have got some watches on the Rampage III, Do you know of anyone who actually has them yet, anywhere? Crossfire IV mobo is still in consideration as well! Heard someone clocked the new AMD to 6.8. Not that I'm up for LN, I just think thats a shocker.
