Asus P8Z68-V LE and CPU voltage limitation

Hi all, my first post.

I have been reading some guides and I have been able to over clock quite well to even 4.9 Ghz with the above combo.

The only thing I am worried about is the CPU voltage. I would like to limit it to 1.365 max.

During load (not all the time) it might go up to 1.45 V which I find too high.

I cannot find a way to actually manually put that number in and whatever I try the CPU voltage always goes over (Real Temp and a few other pog's).

I used the offset method (-) @ 1.365 but it still keeps on creeping up higher. Any ideas?

Change your offset to negative, and enter .085 as the offset value. You probably won't be stable at your speed if you drop voltage that much, though, so if it fails, change it to .08, then .075, etc.

Thanks for replying.

I have put a negative offset value in but it still keeps on crossing the border 1.4 V. I just wonder why we cannot put a max. core value in?
