ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution Workstation Motherboard

Oooh yummy. Wonder if that will be as iconic among overclockers as the P5E64WS Evo. Looks almost identical too.

Looks very pleasant on the eye, pretty well arranged, no pci - which is a bold step forward (reference in particular soundcard manufacturers complaining about pcie), atx ?

I'd question the proposed target audience, although it could easily do all those tasks, it looks much more capable than sitting in an office.

With a good show of performance, and compatability working well with them slots, this could be a good one.

Few weeks old, this board number 3 or 4 from ASUS ?

This is a good board, maybe even for normal usage.I`d like to try one. Only with 2 video cards...and sas onboard. What could you wish more?I hope it isn`t very hot when loaded:)

And now that i really think about it..wouldn`t be nice if some of them would be prizes or just there for a giveaway? :)

The pricing is actually quite good :o Cheapest etailer in the netherlands asks 275 euro for it, 285 is about average.

I guess the board will not be a good clocker though, unless it's just an expansion based on the p6t deluxe.

Edit: never mind. This pricing is for the p6t WS professional, not the p6t6. Main difference is that the ws pro 'only' has 2 or 3 PCI-e 16x lanes.
