No comp there,the asus mobo is better in anyways you can think of.

Asrock released the z68 extreme7,but its in the pricerange with gigabyte and asus highend z68/p67 mobo`s.

Is the ASUS Maximus IV Extreme Z really worth $166 more than the ASRock Z68 Fatal1ty Professional Gen3, and $100 more than the Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD7-B3??

Nope,i would get the gigabyte z68x-ud7,and get a decent ssd for the money saved.

The ASRock Z68 Fatal1ty Professional Gen3 has the same performance as the Gigabyte Z68X UD7 B3
