I like them they have just as much love for the 2500k as those who still own 1 do

Ha ha ha well Sandy Bridge and then Skylake are Intel their best chips, I think.

I always thought for gaming anything clocked over 4.4Ghz showed very little gain anyway.

Yeah, that's what I've found. The race to 5Ghz just isn't necessary for gaming. Games in general don't seem to be frequency-bound—edit: past a certain point

And the same goes for RAM speed after a certain point, depending on the application/game for games I'd rather run my 3GHz CL16 than 4166MHz CL21.
