ASUS issues a statement on BIOS updates and the warranty coverage of AMD AM5 MBs

Ooh someone must be stinging from some publicity they have received. Asus, go stand on the bold step for a generation or two!

Há! Yeah, Okay, all voltages follow AMD guidelines, right... As if there isn't enough prrof that Asus been overvolting everything for years.

We should hold AMD ans even Intel accountable to this, make they ban Asus from making new motherboards untill they start respecting the right voltages for things.

Too little too late, The quality of Asus has gone down the toilet in recent years with prices climbing and things like this shouldn't have happened in the first place.

Reviewers still give Asus great ratings, but these new AM5 boards they were putting out were garbage. Amazon and other stirs people complaining about various things and even reddit.
Gigabyte of all board makers had good consumer reviews everywhere I could find. I haven't had any issues(outside thinking I bricked it but it was not a board issue, my error)

I hope they get it together. I still prefer Asus boards and their BIOS.

Asus started to drop it's quality back in the LGA 1366 days, and they have never recovered for me.

I will never unless I have no choice, buy an Asus product ever again.

MSI have lost me for Motherboards as well due to the overpriced and over vaulting boards just like Asus, although not as bad as Asus.

Crosshair X670E pricing is dropping = these are sub €600 now instead of sub €700 when first released. Just need to weigh up risks / mitigations of blowing up a 7 series Ryzen but a faster platform and cheaper / faster / more memory.
