Well I have 2 of them and they have not made a peep and I've been benching the sh** out of them in 3dmark

I'll be buying in about a month. I'll also be keeping an eye out for more of those coil whine complaints until I buy. If I see a lot of them, it will be EVGA that gets my money.

I see that you ~have~ begun to hear some coil whine from both of your cards. (from your newest posts about them) I'm sorry that it's so.
I'll be getting the EVGA products for sure now,.......

Yeah I'm well gutted from what I hear EVGA have issues with alignment of the cooler and they have had some coil whining as well.

I'm thinking of going with the gigabyte G1 edition it seems to be the one I've heard the least problems with

I'll still go with EVGA probably. I've bought that brand several times and always been impressed with their quality. (and looks)

I really do like the looks of the MSI Gaming cards, and they would go well with my next build's colors, but they have some work to do on them to be ready for prime time.

I will before I buy, but that's about a month away.

My newest GPU is an EVGA GTX-760 4GB.
It has no ACX fitment issues and no whine to it either. It's a really good card.

I read that the new EVGA GTX-970 didn't come with the ACX 2.0 cooler due to lead times in the manufacturing process.
The next batch will have the newer ACX cooler and any coil whine issues will have been addressed before they're released.
(at least they ~should~ be)

The ACX 2.0 cooler doesn't fit the card properly. Don't bother.
