Asus GTX560 Performance issue

Hi guys its been a long time since last post.

I need help badly, I bought a new GPU and was going to sell my old one. New GPU is Asus GTX560 ti 1GB GDDR5 with SLIGHT overclock of 830MHz.

The 3DMark11 score I SHOULD be getting is around P4000~P4200 for Graphics...but its more like P3688 which is as high as my overclocked GTX460 768MB, that is a nightmare! I checked my Bios made sure everything is as it should be, made sure nothing else was running in the background etc etc...start the test and get the same performance, my PSU is still the Corsair 600W don't know if power could be bringing my cards perfomance down or not. I am also running the latest nvidia drivers 270.61. Does this mean my Graphics card is faulty or is it something else?

How is it in games is it performing like it should or are you getting performance drops in games as well.

Erm so far only testing 1 game haha...and its about the same not better or worse, same FPS same everything. Still disappointed thought :S

Strange, try some different drivers if there is any could just be the drivers playing up.

Ok I will try that...btw don't know if this means anything...but when I first put the card in it took very long for the OS to recognise it and even then after the restart something didn't look right. I got some weird error and then it dissappeared. But since then I've restarted about 3 times already and get no erros or anything but i still get the same performance. But I think I should try uninstalling all drivers and re-installing them again just incase.

That sounds a bit weired, it should just work strait off. Were you using a AMD card before this one? if you were that might cause some problems if the AMD drivers didn't uninstall fully. Try taking it out give the connectors a wipe and make sure it's installed correctly and try again and if you still have probs uninstall all drivers and try an old one first to see if it is the drivers. Apart from that I can't think of anything else.

BigIan88 might be able to help you more than I can he has a 560TI
