Asus CROSSHAIR VI EXTREME and x470

Does the Asus - ROG CROSSHAIR VI EXTREME EATX AM4 have bios support for the x470 chipset? I am in the process of getting a build together that involves the crosshair VI extreme and Amd Ryzen 7 2700X however this motherboard to my knowledge has only x370 chip support.

No it doesn't have X470 Support as it's X370 if you're asking if the board will support a 2700X the answer is yes all you have to do is update the bios to the latest from Asus and your cpu will run fine also Asus boards are able to have their bios flashed without a cpu installed so just follow the instructions in your motherboard manual.
