Hi.
My ASUS motherboard (M5A97 PRO) doesnt boot when CPU fans are not connected to the header on the motherboard. Since I have a fan controller i do not need them plugged in. I get round it by plugging in an antec truequiet in, cause they make no noise whatsoever anyway, but is there any way to disable this feature in the BIOS? Cant find anything in there.
This is obviously no such an issue for me, but I am selling my motherboard and processor to a mate this month to upgrade to ivybridge and so I dont want him to hae the same problems.
I take it this is pretty standard on ASUS motherboards? my old MSI one didnt do it, but I cant find anything online to help.
Thanks in advance
