ASUS announces their new lineup of GTX 1050 and 1050Ti GPUs

Why not? At least Nvidia allow AIBs to do it. :p :amdwar:

So does AMD. Yet unlike AIBs for Nvidia, they release the same card 15 different times. AIBs for AMD only release a few cards with a clear tier hierarchy. Not with Nvidia, you got lost with 15 different cards. EVGA is the worst culprit. It's nothing against Nvidia or AMD. It's the AIBs and it's annoying as hell. Flood the market with nvidia cards and make finding an AMD card take more effort. You'd think they would opt to make it more equal so they get more money from another source otherwise with just one OEM(Nv) it becomes a price surge and no one ends up buying them because they become to expensive.

AMD deserve to get flammed. Those idiots don't learn with the restriction of reference only at launch . It's completely pointless ..

If anything it just makes the product look bad with their crappy coolers. Nailed the cooler this time around.... As if..

More like nailed their coffin shut some more.

They don't. AIBs just take forever, Nvidia has this problem too. I don't understand why everyone flames AMD for it. It's stock issues at first for both. Once stock gets up there's enough for AIBs. Just for AMD they take obscenely long. More than half don't even have excuses. They use the same cooler across many different GPUs.

You also have to take into consideration companies like Sapphire, XFX, Club3D and Power Colour who only do AMD cards, AMD should have the edge with AIBs (shouldn't they?) after all they already have the major brands making their cards like MSI, Gigabyte, Asus.. just a thought.

And yet those major brands take forever even when it's the same cooler being used for multiple different GPUs. That's a thought too. Why the heck do they take forever. It's not like they have trouble making more coolers, unless RGBs are scarce all of a sudden^_^

It's all about the cooler mounting off sets and tooling, a strix nvid cooler isn't the same fitting as say the RX480 is.. Same goes for mosfet or vram positions it all makes a difference so that all takes time to set up. Also the aibs need to know that if they churn the cards out that suppliers will buy the stock.

Nope. You would think so. Exact same

As the author says, exact same cooler on the Strix 480 as the Strix 1080. Only thing that changes is the rear Io shield. But don't tell me that takes months to make...
Other cards are like this too. This was just the first example I found(I'm not being rude btw, just pointing out a fact that people really just ignore and flame AMD for no reason)
