ASUS "Adds" To The 19" Field

Is their (19"W) usual resolution like 1440x800 or similar ?
1680x1050 on a slightly smaller screen than I`m looking at should present a tighter image. Although I look at the Dell 20" and it looks absolutely fantastic - and I can qualify that by working around about 5 different manuf models from 15" up to 24"+ wide, including the Apple cinemas.
I think, as long as this is kept within a nice price range, it will be a good option for those fearing the size of 20"+ on their desk, but want those almost standard resolutions.
It also works against the trend of taking smaller screen tech and fitting it to a larger screen - which makes the vision more blocky.
