Assetto Corsa, Driving Sim

Truck sims? Is this a clever way to mock Ferraris? :D

Anyway, it is often considered one of the best driving sims at the moment. I haven't tried it yet, however.
 
I'm liking the drifting challenges as well ad it being modable.

here's hoping and include in on the radeonrewards page.
 
Myself and UKGouki gave this game a trial a while back and to be honest it was looking to be a fantastic racer, I'm glad someone else has picked up on it I may have to go back and get trialling it again soon it's been a while.

This is a screen shot from February when it was in Beta stages we were getting good results at max settings.

makes me want to buy it NOW!!!! but need the disc version...

I've not played Corsa since feb I'll need to search my many thousands of emails for my early access code I think I paid about £15 for greenlight version. There was only the Lotus to use at the time coz they were adding content all the time hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to have a look at the new changes and fingers crossed they have unlocked MSAA & Tessalation in the new version too.

Bear in mind my above screen shot was at 900x1440 maxed out settings but AA or Tess in the options were greyed out. I think with full Anti-Alias and tesselation it will be perfect. :cool:
 
When I first saw this thread I went on youtube and watched some game play, it looked pretty serious but lacking the graphics to have any fun.

Seeing that Lotus though! If that's 1440x900 with no AA then I can't wait to see the finished product. GRID2 has been the only tarmac racing game that's struck a good balance between realism, entertainment and graphics on PC for me but that quickly feels a bit prescribed and clumsy after 100 races. I hope AC can be beautiful enough to make me want to play a sim and then I can finally put my graphics hardware, G27 and studies to good use!

I think this might just be the PC Racing game we've been waiting for to finally rival GT & Forza I'm actually genuinely excited now.

Tis 'driving' me insane knowing that I cant get hold of this game until the earliest the last week of January.....

Did you photoshop that BMW in? it looks so real, just missing the number plate

I just downloaded it, it seems really good. the graphics are amazing. I need to get my wheel out tomorrow to give it a good go.
