As small as possible

This will most likley be build after november but i need a rig to be as small as possible

And i was thinking about one of them new AMD APU's

Because of i probably do not have to buy a GPU wich means the rig is gonna cosist of APU, case, powah, cooler...

Check out the Silverstone SG05 and SG07 cases, they are Mini ITX are they too big?

Also maybe check the Mini ITX zotac boards coming out with GeForce GT430 so you don't need to buy a gpu. There are some barebone nettops but not sure if you are after those.

Isn't mITX samller than mATX??

And those LOOK to big, I will get you some dimensions in a few hours

There is no need for a optical (if they exist without) because i got a external usb drive somewhere lying around under my bed somewhere

What about a Zalman HD503 and a corsair h60 ??? Could be nice and quiet (i am gonna remove the HDD bays and put a ssd in there and then have a external hdd

It is because of how the inside is designed

i don't hate the looks but it is not awfully fugly either

In your opening post you say you want to go as small as possible. In the scale of things that Zalman case is chuffin' huge. When you say as small as possible mini itx and an sff case is the way to go, and as someone posted earlier if you want to game then the sgo5/6/7 are good. Have you thought about the FT03?

Yea but i kinda wanted to go with the ASUS F1A75-M Pro and as soon as i saw the Zalman i was instantly thinking h60

But what i originally meant was actually about the size of the Zalman or smaller

I've just had another look at TTL's review of the FT03, I would definitely consider this if I was building an matx rig.

I don't like the fact that it is turned 90 degrees

But i do like the layout, just needs to be turned back to what i think is "standard"

Nope not a HTPC ( i know the zalman is a htpc case) but i want it to be a strong little rig, for gaming and other things.

i do not know how strong the graphics part of the APU is so if anyone could clarify?

Current APU's will play games smoothly on medium settings and playable framerates on high

Good, and it will be running on a vga monitor

I have been used to run games on low-medium for a long time
