This project started from buying a broken prom mach1 off ebay and it went from a 'repair' into this project.

I'll let the details speak for themselves, but I think it's turned out quite well. Quite a few hours work went into making it all pretty.

Full spec...

NL11F Danfoss compressor (from the old mach1)

Kayl's head and enclosure

Johann's flex line

Original condensor from the (from the old mach1)

402a blended gas

Sunon fans back and front

2m x 2 EL wire on the suction line

Golden Froster XE with module

3.5mm ALU checkerplate base

Laying it out for the build

Shot in the dark (no not the Ozzy Osbourne song)

The suction line got heavier flex that holds it's shape and will take a little more abuse when manhandling it for different socket locations. 2.95m of .031" captube, EL wire under the braid, and Kayl head for performance and of course that pretty mounting plate too.

Sprayed the condensor to match the silver case

And this is how it all fits in...

The only really 'icy shot' I was able to get, it's from a weird angle, so that's why it's hard to see

And the display in operation

The gas is a blend so that quiet fans work well with it, and the no load temp was around -55 when done, and -41 or so with the fluke on 150w test, and showing -36 or so on the Froster Display. The new software for the golden froster can be used later to adjust the temperature 'trim' and bring the reading on the display inline with the true readings.

So far thats the Vapor side finished leaving just the water side for the GFX to do here are a couple of sketchup pictures of my idea.

It's nice to see the project coming together for you mate. I had my fun with it, but as always there's that sad day when you have to let something go, and that day always comes.

Oh and Stocky, I finally have your unit in my 'lab' :D so you WILL get an update in the next day or so once I've got the system together so you can see it happening too. Sorry it takes so long sometimes, but there has been a lot to do. It's your turn now though, and I'll try to make sure that it ends up as nice as this one is, or at least as close as I can make it :)

Mr. Dabble, my hat goes off to you, it's a heck of a project to make it not only perform well, but also be as beautiful as you can, and I'm sure it will be just as amazing when it's done as it is inside your head :B

Cheers

Gray

Amzing dude,

Exactly pretty much kinda to what i'm having done ish

Can i steal you res idea please?? I was only going to T-line mine but res i think will look uber cool.

Oh by the way how much room in height is there where you res is as i wana do some other stuff but height is my problem and Gray has my black buite now the bugga

Yeah no problems on the res idea if you like it use it I don't own the (C) on it. From the top of the res to the top of the case you are talking 2" of free space
