Are you under SubZero?

Do you bench below 0.C?

Joking, 20,000 people in one room can't be too good for airflow

How can you be "under sub-zero"

Just joking.

Just a random question?

Err.. what if you get a tower style cooler eg. Megahalems and drill through the heatpipes, link them at the bottom and have liquid nitrogen flowing through them? Is there such a cooler out there?

Prbaly could but would be completly pointless, mayaswell just get a LN2 block proably endup cheaper buy the time you have fafed with the megahalmes.

Under phase here, have been for the last 7 or 8 years (although not with the rotary in the pic)

Built this one about 18 months ago. Holds a 975 at 5ghz 24/7 stable and a 990x at 5ghz 24/7 stable.

Thats a pretty nice setup you have there:)

It's only a single stage rotary unit?

Deffo possible. But we have yet to arrange anything in detail. If it happens Ill have to get it covered properly on the site ect and I do have some new subzero toys heading my way, would be a great way to show them off......

Open invitation? I'll deffo be there i live 20 mins away from Aria

I used too bench under subzero.... My best and fondest memories of my clocking days!

Had a chilly1 modded Vapochill LS, a chilly1 2 stage cascade built in to a MM U2-UFO, and a Mousepot for DICE/LN2.

I found this pic poking around my pix directory from back in the day..... Parts pile accumulating for the first 2 stage rotary that I built.

Thank's mate, i like it although i'm going to move it all to a purpose fitted room soon.

Yes it is just a single stage rotary. Got another couple of comps the same size now ready for a 2 stage in the near future.

hi rawz! i've seen you on the forums before

for regular benching i use Single Stage

for extreme benching (1.66v+) i use ln2.. but my suppliers are quite far from me so i seldom get refills anymore

Have used single stage phase and ln2. I don't do sub zero 24/7 anymore, only for benching. Main reason is I keep upgrading motherboards, so it's best to keep them in good condition to sell on. 24/7 insulation is hard to remove without trace, and there's also the question of rma.
Have started building and repairing phase unit's, will be building a cascade soon.

this thread is rather old now, but did this meet ever happen?

No i don't believe it ever did, but if something where to happen i would be the first to get there :P A meet did happen in March (16th i think :P) i believe but that was not set up by OC3D it was simply a meet of UK benchers i think.
