Are these really new cases at Computex?

I would love to know why the so called new cases at Computex do NOT feature USB 3.1 ports on the face plates??? This just does make any sense to me. USB 3.1 has been out for a while, and several mobo's have 3.1 frontend headers, but I can't seem to find a decent case that supports it.
I would also kill for pricing information of the new x299 mobo's and kaby lake X processors.

pricing is out for the kaby lake x procs already but mobo prices should be out shortly as well

But I'm hearing that the Kaby Lake X processors are not soldered properly, have heating problems and are not nearly as good as the Sky Lake X chips. Have you heard this, or am I getting crap info?

I'm wondering about that as well. Kaby Lake came after Skylake, so you'd expect Kaby Lake X to be better than Skylake X, but it seems they're not... very confusing imho

I'm still a tad confused lol seems they both go on X299 boards but only skylake x will be quad channel capable

Yeah, Intel is doing a crappy job of deciminating information. The Kaby Lake X should be much better than the Sky Lake X. But it's NOT. So many, many, many of us are confused as to what to buy, and that is exactly the opposite of what Intel should want. They really need to get their together over there.

You cant really say that, they are not even launched yet. You have a way to wait till having to worry about products being in stock.

But you have to admit TTL that what info has been given thus far this launch seems to be in part rushed a bit. Seems like a knee jerk reaction to thread ripper imho

The launch has been pulled forward 3 months because of Ryzen. No one knew about TR when these choices were made.

The thing is its not out yet and no official stuff has really been announced so the original argument has no basis, its just a shock to the system thats all.

If you guys think you have it bad - try being a reviewer!

I am but not in your level or anywhere near it lol but yeah more needs to come out before well informed opinions can be made that's for sure

I respect you ttl, but also respectfully disagree. My argument is about information. And there have been tons of manufacturers who released great deals of information about their products before they were officially released. This allows the public to decide to wait on a product or buy something else now. It is a professionalism, that too many companies have forgotten, probably purposefully so. Intel being unprepared for TR, and doing this fly by night quick announcements of the next gen chips has pushed a lot of consumers to AMD, and rightfully so. AMD has caught Intel with their pants down, and is giving us cheaper better chips per price point. And this kind of competition can only be a good thing for the industry and the people.

You are basing your argument on "tons of manufactuerers" when that's false. I don't think you understand what he was trying to say. Because fact of the matter is there is only 2 of them, not "tons". If you are trying to make an analogy, it was a poor one.

But TTL is right, NO ONE knew TR was coming. Absolutely 0 leaks about it until out of nowhere we get a confirmation about it from AMD.

And again, I'm not trying to be offensive or contrary, but I think it is you who is misunderstanding my post. When I said tons of manufacturers, I did NOT say tons of cpu manufacturers. You erroneously inferred that all on your own. My statement was not false, it is absolutely true. Tons of manufacturers includes companies from thousands of different industries. My statement was about business in general, not just the tech industry and more specifically Chip manufacturers. So NO, there aren't just two manufacturers in the world. There are TONS of them in all different industries, and different countries. My analogy was spot on, and easily recognized if you just read my statement, and don't make your own inferences.
And one last thing, it's Intel's job to know about huge development's in their own industry. They are the Goliath and AMD is the David. So for them to NOT know about TR, and get caught looking the wrong way when AMD punched them in the mouth, is their own fault. And making excuses for them in counter productive.

So you are arguing with TTL who was talking about TR with the argument that you are using includes essentially every company in the world? Nice. Contrary to what you think, you are wrong;)
Why are you wrong? because your argument is irrelevant. Nothing TTL said was wrong, there was nothing to disagree with.

Sorry, but once again you missed the point. I am the OP of this thread. So it isn't about what another posters point was, it is about what my point was, being the OP. That is how forums work, in case you've forgotten. and my original point was more about the lack of updated tech on this years cases, and how companies seem to have regressed in this notion. And ttl's point was that I couldn't say that because the product wasn't even out yet. So I used the standard of industry in general to say that what he was saying was NOT a good excuse. And guess what, most people who are in this industry agree with me. So Mr. Contrary, you are the one in the minority! Obviously you haven't watched to many videos, or read very much news on the subject, as about 98% of the consensus seems to be in my corner. Almost every big name in this industry has reported that Intel got caught with their pants down, and reacted very, very poorly as a consequence. That by the way supports everything I am espousing here in this thread. So you can put your head back in the sand and ignore facts, if that is how you choose to live. But the other 98% of us are wide awake to Intel's galactic mistake.

Ah yes, you are OP you can never be argued against and therefore wrong. No one else's points matter because you are OP. You are also using the "standard of the industry" point even though you are not in the industry nor have any insight. But you are OP, you are King.

Somone's a little salty and triggered, you know on forums what happens when people do that? Or this your first rodeo?;)

I will resign from this thread. I am not OP afterall, I should have known better after 12,765 posts. Sorry.

Wow! A cartoon comeback! Very telling of your level of maturity. Your reading comprehension is really not serving you well. Please point out where I said that no one can argue against my point. Congruently, please point out where I said that no else's point mattered. It's seems that you are guilty of doing exactly what you are falsely accusing me of. I simply disagreed to ttl, and you have been up in arms since. In fact, I'm not quite sure where he ends, and you begin. Lol.
I replied to ttl that I respected him, but also respectfully disagreed. And you then started huffing and puffing...Lol. So I am guessing it is you who thinks no one else can have an opinion. I only pointed out that I was the op, because you made such a case about me being off topic with my argument. So you seem to be the one who is triggered. Only when people run out of idea's do they hypocritically point fingers at others, and accuse them of saying things they never said. And anyone reading this thread can see that I never said any of those things. You just decided to fabricate them, to support your sanctimonious argument. So it's easy to see who is triggered here. Lol. But if it makes you feel better about yourself, so be it...
