Are my temps okay?

Load @ 60.C

Idle @ 40.C

Temps are fine but the voltage is way to high. You on air? I would recommend lowering the voltage as Intel have said past 1.55v the Q6600 will start to degrade.

Could always just lower the voltage by a smidge, test the setup and repeat - just to see how low u can get it.

Lowering the voltage will have an effect on the temps to a degree.

Lower them mate, it will degrade your chip very fast.. you will regret it!

Yeh its not really an OC, it like oc my cpu when it needs to, like under load it goes to 3.4,

dont know why its giving it so much vcore! gigabyte you silly fools...

Its either no oc nomal vcore, or 3.4 when it needs it an high vcore...

Put it all back to stock didnt want to fry my only half decent CPU..

Manually do it and you will have a lower voltage and a lower temp.

He can't mate.. I've been assisting him with it last night.. just refuses to do it. Even at 290FSB (just over 2.6GHz) it won't boot.. just reverts to stock.
