ARCTIC COOLING Release The Freezer Xtreme

Looks great. Can't wait for a review. :yumyum: Now I got unsure if I should buy a cooler now or wait till July.

I have the Orochi here for review, but not a sample of the Freezer Xtreme. I'll see if I can get in contact with AC

The cooler is abit to big for my likings LOL, but this could be the new price performance king, as arctic products are always cheap and yet decent.

sooner or later, the way these coolers are going, the backplate will have to be situated on the case. Held on by the same bolts that navy ships use.

included in the arctic freezer navy edition:

* 4x Navy issue bolts

* 1x Navy issue pneumatic drill

* 1x Spot Welder

* 1x Official Arctic Freezer Welding mask

* 1x Pair of Official Arctic Freezer welding gloves

* 1x Spot welding manual

* 1x Forklift Truck

* 1x Scissor stand for heatsink lifting assistance

* 4x Reinforced Steel Joists for strutural case support

* 1x Case Sticker

And that's just for the northbridge....

Quick bit of info for you lads, my mate bought one of these today..

First MAJOR problem.. the colosal cooler is mounted by.. yeah you guessed it.. PUSH PIN!

Second of all.. he couldn't get it mounted and broke one of the mounting clips, it is a bad design according to him.

Thirdly, on a more positive note.. although it is only held on to his Asus Rampage Formula by three holes, it is keeping his Q6600 @3.4 at 68 68 66 66 at 100% load for 30 mins of Orthos, so must be a LOT better when he gets it mounted properly.

A slight bit of modification is required to get it to fit properly, you need to purchase 4 nuts and bolts so that you can mount it yourself using the bolts. I am currently looking the a mounting kit that you can buy readily available from an E-retailer.. will get back to you if I find what I am looking for.

I can't wait to get a mamoth like this in my system :)
