Arctic Cooling Release MX-2

Sounds interesting. I like the idea of it not being conductive electrically.

Since the MX-2 compound does not contain any metal particles, there are no problems regarding electrical conductivity and capacitance

It still sounds quite expensive for such a small tube. Altho I guess people will pay the money.

Be nice if they supply it with their coolers, pre-applied or tubes :)

Be interesting to see how it compares with Ceramique and AS5.

I just wish coollabs would perfect their stuff so that it doesn't spoil surfaces. That's the only TIM I've ever noticed make a massive difference.

Maybe that's why it is so good? :)

Because of the way it integrates (literally) into the surfaces  .

I wouldn't touch the stuff after reading about it on XS ages ago and also seeing the images of a cleaned copper heatsink which still had parts of the compound still embedded into it

Also wtf were they doing selling it in a syringe which had a hypodermic needle

It is absolutely the best TIM going! I remember it dropping my temps by 10 degrees! I have to agree it is annoying how it stains things, my cpu/gpu block have a silver patch and even my proccy seems odly coloured now...

Nice. I like the MX-1 compound, seems a tad better than the AS5.

I'd be interested to see whether this will be much better or only slightly better than MX-1.

Can imagine it being good, although not sure if it'll be any better than MX-1, might drop 1c or so but that's all I'm expecting from it :)
