I'm trying to put some funds together to buy a 990X but isn't going well so far =(

I could flog the MOA kit but not sure if i want to. Pretty much given up on Sandy Bridge. Costing too much just to find a 5.7+ 2600K. Might as well get some LN2 & 990X. =D

Bloody hell mate, that's going to be some serious funds. SB was fun but I can only get average ranks from it as The chip could only hit 5.3GHz with the gpu parts of 3dmark and 5.2GHz with the CPU sections.

But I have a new love for 3Dmark 2001, never really looked into the tweaks and doing it properly, but spent so long on it on friday, and it showed with an average 10,000 score increase from a bog standard run.

I just wish I could get a few more GPU's before I get rid of SB, but thats not going to happen.

I really dislike the cpu side of benching, but it seems so much cheeper to get more than hardware point on HWbot.

I really need to stick my 5870 on with the 2600k as I get some nice clocks from my card, much more than those around me in the league.

I would keep your MOA kit. Did you get all of it or just the 580 and board?

Edit: I WANT APRIL MEMBER OF THE MONTH SO NO BUGGER START BENCHING ON THE 30TH!
