Application Forms! Grrrrr...

I'm sitting here at work, under my bosses orders to complete an application form for a promotion/permanency.

Great, but it's been 18 months since I did one/had an interview.

As a contractor I have a few roles in that time to add to my CV and I've almost forgotten about some of the projects I managed! Gah. I then have to relate all my skills/experience specifically to this role. A necessary evil. All this BS is mentally exhausting!

The incentive is a 50% pay rise, so I should really STFU and get it done!

get it done!!! What sort of projects do you manage?

I always try to keep my cv up to date, so when i come to apply for a job, i know i havent missed anything out.

My last role was a PM in Information Development. Development being the key word. Whatever information management system/processes the business required, we developed and delivered.

So it was diverse... I'd need to write quite a lot to explain them to be honest!

Thanks for the luck, I'll finish my app tonight and let you all know how things go. Suffice to say if/when i get this i'll have some money to splurge on a nice car and probably some new pc gear if there is anything around that is worth the upgrade...

The group manager is in the States, he left me a stack of work, haven't touched it since last Wed, he's back Monday.

Team leader let me fill in my app but it isn't going well, had a massive mental block.

App needs to be in today.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

Phew. Feel a touch better, must crack on...

I just get stressed out, then I get in the zone and unleash. Always the way lol. I hope I get it, already started mentally spending some of my hefty pay rise lol!
