That's a lot of money for a site with no adverts.

Indeed. Apple are probably looking to turn it into a fashion item like the ipod.

It does seem to tie in with some of the inane Apps the iPhone/iPod touch has on the app store.

Not that they are inane, some are very useful, but I find Twitter inane so I class it in the same category

Less than that for me, signed up, went to post an avatar, it said it was too big and I'd have to re-size it, couldn't be bothered and left.......

Lol I signed up, started following a few people then deleted it after two days of pure spam in my gmail about how someone posted they just ate breakfast.

I'll be honest. I signed up to enter Antec's competition and haven't returned since. No doubt there are others who did the same

I use it for ReadingFest official updates and another forum I use posts information regarding downtime on it when things go wrong but those are the only two uses I've ever found for it

It just lacks the features of Facebook, while Facebook includes what Twitter has =/
